  4. Hello. I have wanted to be a security officer for a long time. My uncle is the head officer at Maine General Hospital. He told me to apply but I’m afraid my past may prevent me from getting the job. 13 yrs ago I was 18 and made a mistake going into a home to get a girls belongings and was charged with a felony burglary. I couldn’t afford a good lawyer and was young and didnt k ow my rights. The case was rushed through without me explaining the situation. Now many years later I look back and see the mistakes I made. I’m passionate about getting this job to protect and serve. I’m a good person and strive to be a productive and helpful citizen. If theres anything I can do to help get this job please let me know. Thanks for listening.
